Marie Lee practices general business law, real estate law, municipal law, probate and family law, and civil and administrative litigation. Her business law practice includes representing businesses and profit and non-profit corporations on general corporate and business law issues. She also assists business clients with intellectual property matters. Ms. Lee has particular expertise in internet based businesses and web sites.
Her real estate practice includes representing individuals and businesses in the acquisition and development of residential and commercial real estate, condominium and cooperative buildings, title disputes, leasing, land use and zoning, historic district issues, and landlord – tenant matters. She represents a number of banks and financial institutions in residential and commercial transactions.
Ms. Lee represents and advises individual property owners and municipalities on municipal tax abatements for both real estate and personal property taxes. She also assists property owners in resolving delinquent taxes with municipalities and the Commonwealth.
Her litigation practice is comprised of title and other real estate disputes, Appellate Tax Board cases, probate and family law, torts, and appeals. Probate and family law matters handled include estate administration and planning, guardianship and conservatorship.
